Findlay received its first significant snowfall of the season this weekend. It started Friday around noon and by Saturday afternoon, we had an accumulation of 6-7 inches. It was beautiful, powdery snow too. The boys took advantage of the opportunity to work on their architectural prowess with plans of an igloo.
Daniel was much more dedicated to the project than Noah although Noah did put in some man hours. Daniel built a structure on Friday that collapsed. He revised his blueprints and tried again on Saturday. He was actually able to stand up inside his igloo...before it collapsed.
According to Daniel, Belle was of no help since she just laid down in the snow and looked at him.
The video is a brief glimpse of the construction taken from inside the house. (It was cold!)
I did go outside to use our new snowblower and clear the driveway. Did you know that if you don't have the vents pointed to the right or the left on the machine, you will subsequently blow snow onto your house?
Now I know.
